Very rare & real Hildebrandt sand cast aluminum tappet covers for pre 59 staggered bolt small block Chevy. Your getting them in as found condition. No dealers worked them over, no busted fins, no bolt hole cracks. There dirty & have patina but will clean up.

Some of the mounting holes have crudely been enlarged & it looks like the top edge on the mounting flange might have been cut down a bit. No heavy pitting, some oxidization.
