The TTY bolts are a pain to install; especially when the engine is in the engine compartment. These US-made ARP bolts only require a 3-step even torquing process compared to the TTY bolt 8-step process. These Professional series cylinder head bolts from ARP are cold-forged to ensure molecular integrity. They are heat-treated prior to thread rolling and machining and are rated at a whopping 200,000 psi. All kits come complete with hardened parallel washers for even load distribution and accurate torque readings.
This listing is for an ARP Professional Series cylinder head bolt kit for 2004-Up Chevrolet/GM Generation III and IV LS-series V-8 engines; except LS9 supercharged engines. The 2004 model year was a "split" year for cylinder heads used on these engines. Before ordering, be sure all of your inner head bolts are the same length. Bolt specifications are as follows.
