These valve covers have built-in breather baffles. Valve cover depth is 3-9/16.

One 1-1/4 push-in hole per cover. Suggested bolt length is 1-1/4. These premium quality Small Block Chevy (SBC) valve cover gaskets are made with a stainless steel frame sandwiched between durometer-tested neoprene rubber. This eliminates leakage caused by internal pressure fluctuations. Steel core valve cover gaskets won't tear or collapse. Fits 1960-86 small block Chevy style heads (4 perimeter bolts).

By GS on May 05, 2026. I love these valve covers and the way they look on this engine. There's only one drawback that I've found and that is that it takes a fairly long time to put oil in the engine through these covers after an oil change. Maybe I can modify them enough to allow them to flow more later.
