The reason is the gasket surface. Some of them have small dents, cuts, porosity, rust and or low spots but most of all around certain edges the item was not polished off so it is rough.

We have been told that most of them will seal with a good gasket. On an extreme case, some of them might need to be resurfaced. Please ask if you have any questions before purchasing as these manifolds are final sale.

The header is 100% brand new but during our Quality control inspection, we either find surface scratches that didn't meet our quality standard which results in a deep discount for you.
