MSD 85551 SBC BBC Pro Billet Aluminum Distributor Small and Big Block Chevy V8

This is MSD's most popular performance distributor! The housing is machined from a billet of 6061-T6 aluminum on a state-of-the-art CNC machine producing exact tolerances. Modified blocks can also take advantage of the O-ring seals to help maintain proper pressure.

For high rpm stability, a. 500 steel shaft is supported by a sealed ball bearing and a long sintered bushing.

This shaft also receives a QPQ coating for friction reduction and resistance to corrosion. Different springs and stop bushings are supplied so you can tune an advance curve to match your application.

NOTE: Must be used with an MSD 6, 7, 8 or 10 Series Ignition. Supplied with a Cap and Rotor. Slip collar: No (MSD 85561 has a slip collar).
